The Luna Diaries- Entry 7Dear Diary,
Today I went for a walk through Canterlot, in my disguise of course. The level of… apathy I saw was astounding. I noticed many a beggar in the tight alleyways, some of them looking starved or sick. Since it was Swift that was accompanying me in the guise of my older brother, as he was the shortest of my three guards and it made more sense, I asked him how Tia had let this happen. His reply was most disappointing. Apparently, control over the economy had long since left Tia's control, and was instead in the hooves of banks and businesses. Consequently, some ponies were unable to keep up with the world of money and were forced out of their homes and onto the streets. He went on to say that Celestia was indeed aware of it, but didn't know how to help them. She couldn't just give them money like she used to do in the old days, because then everypony would be after her for more money, and the cycle would never stop.
I gave one of them some spare bits that I had and continued to
The Luna Diaries- Entry 6Dear Diary,
With the weekend upon me I thought it best to confront Tia about my decision to appoint Swift, Sliver Wing and Heartstrings as my personal guard… The results were less than stellar. Tia disagreed with the entire idea of me having personal guards. I suspect that she is disappointed with losing her spies. I tried to explain my choice, saying that I needed ponies that I could trust if I was able to transition back into my life. It soon descended into an hour long argument that prevented Tia from attending from the rest of her duties, such as seeing to the concerns of ponies that visit the palace. I could see her getting increasingly frustrated, but I kept pushing, certain that I could break her down. I was always better at arguing than her, never backing down until I got what I wanted.
She eventually relented, telling me that since it was my castle as well, then I have free reign within its walls. I could tell that she was trying to guilt trip me into changing my mind. I'm not
Uncharted: Applejack's journey- Chapter 3The cold and desolate airfield seemed endless in the low fog as Applejack, Nathan and Elena waited for Sully to arrive with his plane. The incident with the element of honesty the day before had only served to strengthen the wall that had been erected between the former pony and the old treasure hunter. Nathan and Elena had taken Applejack's side in the whole affair, a fact that she disliked. She did not wish to be the cause of their grief, especially when she could tell that they were the best of friends. The chopping sound of the propeller filled her ears and when she turned, the large red and white sea plane was taxing along the runway toward them. While this was the first plane Applejack had ever seen, she tried her best not to panic at the idea of flying in a small, enclosed metal capsule. She had flown before, even walked on clouds, but being an Earth pony, the sky was not her domain. Once Sully opened the door, giving them all a grunt as a greeting. Nathan climbed the ladder fir
Uncharted: Applejack's journey- Chapter 4Applejack's night went mostly uninterrupted, aside from when Sully stumbled into the basement at two in the morning in a drunken stupor, knocking over the table and two chairs as he made his way toward his bunk. When she awoke, Applejack almost immediately noticed a horrid smell coming from the direction of Sully's bunk, and when she looked over, her face contorted into a grimace at the sight of the large puddle of vomit that was on the floor next to his bed.
She woke up Nathan and Elena next, as they all wanted to get a good head start on finding the entrance to the next temple. Nathan had a good idea where it might be, but it was still going to take a long time.
When they got out onto the street, it was nothing like it had been the night before; the road was covered in broken glass, litter and hundreds of plastic bead necklaces. The occasional drunk that had passed out on the ground or slumped against the side of a building groaned as they walked past. With the roads closed and the s
Dusk Rises- Chapter 15
After making their way the stock standard concrete stairwell, Twilight and Jean found themselves in a stark white hallway with gold painted decorations lining the ceiling and floor. The few paintings that Twilight could see all looked very similar, and on closer inspection, discovered that they were all picture of former chancellors. The amplification spell was starting to wear off, causing it to become unstable; to the point where they could hear conversations happening through walls and behind closed doors. While convenient, considering what they were doing, it also made for a few awkward moments, such as when they walked past a bathroom.
Eventually the spell dissipated and left the two girls with nothing but a bit of luck and their own skills. Twilight took the lead, using her natural sense of direction to lead her through the labyrinthine hallways. The pure white walls were starting to get to her, however, giving her a severe feeling of nausea. Twilight closed her eyes for a moment
Nervous MovementYou're a dime a dozen in a sea of billions.
Individuality has no significance in numbers so vast.
And while this fact makes looking forward hard
we can't keep living in the past.
You're a nervous movement in a freeze frame scene.
Steady hands won't help hold up such a fragile act.
And while you take your time keeping character
you fake what you can't take back.
With nothing more than a thought we form our actions
and this is where we extinguish the lie they tried to invent.
The lie that we painted our lives without passion
well conclusions are useless with no attempt to commence.
You're a song I can't name stuck in my head.
I've listened to you before and probably will again.
And while I can hum the melody all day long waiting
for it to hit me I still won't know where you've been.
You're a gust that has never changed direction.
Nothing can touch you you're only felt as you brush skin.
And while you can't be stopped nothing lasts
nothing escapes time not even the wind.
Keep in Touch!
